The furniture ranges are partially handmade, some items are machine made, all done according to the highest standards of manufacturing.

Tolerances in assembling are included in the designs, to minimalize the effects of contraction and expansion on the timber furniture.

All timbers, new and old have been kiln oven dried to a minimum of 12% moisture levels before being used to make the furniture.

All finishes on furniture is done in Australia, adding flexibility to the customers’ personal request.

Extensive usage of Blum track systems on drawers for most of the ranges, application of tongue and groove technique on certain smaller drawers.

All sofa’s and upholstered dining chairs are Australian handmade and available in a variety of fabrics or genuine Italian and Australian leather, but can also be made with your own preferred material.

Oishi also offers the possibility of manufacturing the customers’ own design and size of sofa or upholstered dining chairs.
